I'm new with JPA and I'm getting the following problem.
I have this table:

this table conteining `MAIL_SEQ`:

a web application which uses Spring Data with the entity:

and a batch which uses EclipseLink with the entity:

Now, the web application inserts the first row (SEQ_COUNT = 1).

The batch inserts a second row (SEQ_COUNT = 2).

When I try to insert again by the web application I get

and SEQ_COUNT is still 2.

How can I manage this situation?

Thanks

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
