We were originally planning to have a promotion for "Learning Java by Building Android Games". A few weeks ago, we had to cancel the promo due to the author letting us know he would be unavailable. I partially removed it from our promo calendar, but not fully.

On Monday, I saw that nobody from the book promo team here at CodeRanch was assigned to the promo and quickly started it. In rushing, I failed to:
  • notice that we weren't supposed to be running the promo
  • use the correct author's name

  • I've taken down the promo materials. I can't unsend the email.

I apologize for the error and to anyone hoping to win the book.

This week, we're delighted to have John Horton helping to answer questions about the new book Learning Java by Building Android Games.
See the table of contents online.

The promotion starts Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 and will end on Friday, November 16th, 2018

We'll be selecting four random posters in this forum to win a free copy of the book provided by the publisher, Packt.
