Dear Sir,

I am a Java programming with no previous Android background.

Do you explain thoroughly how to set a working environment for Android ?

As far as I know that environment in the past proved to be resource consuming. That holds true today ?

Thanks.

Have a quick search on Google for Android Studio for (assuming your on Windows). After installation everything is ready to go!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
