The Manning Countdown to 2019 is a month long giveaway that runs from 1st Dec all the way to the 31st. To sign-up all participants need is a Manning account and to be signed up to the Manning Deal of the Day newsletter.

Every day Manning will send out one email with 50% off one book as well as a multiple choice question related to that book. The answers will be found in the liveBook online reader, along with the chapter the answer is found in. liveBook offers non-owners of a book 5 minutes a day to read that book for free, enough time for those interested to answer the question.

Two randomly-selected players who answered that day’s challenge correctly will receive an eBook or video course of their choice.

On January 4 2019, Manning will select a grand prize winner from the players with the most correct answers. The grand prize is a copy of EVERY MEAP they release in 2019.

There will also be special sales throughout the month as well, with 50% off whole sections of the catalog.
