Hi all,
I am a J2EE developer for the past 2 years. I was working in the west coast, but recently got shifted to the east coast. In the west coast every one clinging on the Weblogic Server and aslo on the webgain studio products. But here every one is behind websphere.
So I have to migrate from WAS to websphere.
I have the Websphere studio installed in my system, with VisualAge. I installed VisualAge for Java. Now I have to become a master of that.
Can any one guide me ?
Thanks,
Maya

By WAS, I'm pretty sure that you mean WebLogic Application Server here, but we use it for WebSphere Application Server as well.
Anyway, welcome to Websphere!
You can find lots of wonderful Red Books about VAJ and WebSphere here.

May I suggest my book, Enterprise Java Programming with IBM WebSphere, which will get you jumpstarted on the J2EE parts of J2EE and WebSphere? It's the featured book on Java Ranch this week, and I think it's pretty good

Pardon my last post -- I of course meant VAJ and WebSphere, not J2EE and WebSphere... long day...

Hi all,
Thanks a ton for the warm responses.
I have taken a note of all the books, well the next step is exploring the Barnes and Noble and Borders near to where I live.
Thanks again,
Maya
