Hi,

I am trying to use CDI using Weld in my web App using Java servlet with Tomcat or possibly change to TOMEE.

However, I am confused as to what are the dependencies I needed.

Right now, I have :

<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>jsp-api</artifactId>
<version>2.0</version>
</dependency>
<!-- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/javax.inject/javax.inject -->
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.inject</groupId>
<artifactId>javax.inject</artifactId>
<version>1</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.jboss.weld.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>weld-servlet</artifactId>
<version>2.4.5.Final</version>
<scope>runtime</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>javax.servlet-api</artifactId>
<version>3.1.0</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>

I would like to know if I need to install javaee-api or javaee-web-api on top of what I have.

Thanks.

Not exactly cos the other thread is to find out my connectivity issue.

So, after deleting all the cdi stuff, no errors occur and I really need to find out via Data Source Explorer to see if the data is at least reflected there; as in if the data gets inserted, it will show up at the Data Source Explorer, then at least I know there is something wrong with MYSQL set up or what.
