I have problem in understanding the error below :

Based on this:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Illegal access: this web application instance has been stopped already. Could not load [org.eclipse.persistence.sessions.DatabaseLogin]


My guess is you're using the wrong credentials for your db

It sounds to me like it that the org.eclipse.persistence.sessions.DatabaseLogin class could not be loaded.

It also looks like the application has been shut down. Were there any other deployment issues reported in the logs, like exceptions while creating beans?

Thank you guys.

It turned out that MYSQL server decided to be cranky again.

Now, it is not accepting my root password anymore.

I guess I have to post my question in another forum.
