Friends
We are having a problem in WebSphere App.Server 3.5 if you enable the globla security.
Before enabling security WAS was working properly and i can start and stop. Once security is enabled i cannot start WAS, it complains "Service level error 10", any info or help is realy appreciated.
Thanks
Konda..

I had similar problem before. It was because of the LDAP server.
If every thing works fine, a window will pop up to prompt you to enter user name and password when you start adminclient. Now, you can not even start the server. I think the LDAP server is down or the setting for the LDAP server you did from you admin console is not right. You know port, o=? u=? I cannot remeber the exact syntax. I was using Netscape 4.0 at that moment. Now it is tricky, you cannot access the admin console anymore to change the setting. You want to disable security. How? May be in the admin.config file, you can find something related to security, or go to property folder, I hope it is stored in a property file rather than database.
