Hi all,
I have recently took the exam and pass with score 97. In the below link you can find my unit tests I developed during my study of  exam.
You can change/add new codes to this repository to become helpful to future candidates.

Thanks for sharing!
I'm going to have the exam on next Monday (January 28th) and it will definitely help me to review some missing stuff. Like + Star

Congrats for your great score, I scored 97% in the OCA, I hope to get a good score in the OCP as well.

Could you please share some advices to achieve such great score in OCP?

I'm doing lot of mock exams with good scores and reviewing my weakest topics, but I'm afraid to get unlucky and face all these weakest topics in the exam. (I'm currently reviewing ForkJoin API and file attributes from NIO.2, which I'm not sure if it is still an exam topic)

Thanks a lot!

Cograts for you too for the score in the first exam actually my score was same (98) in OCA.
Sorry but yes there are questions related NIO2 file attributes and fork join pool.
Be careful about JDBC there are a lots of detailed JDBC questions much more than I expected (~ 4-5 questions)
and take special care with parallel streams and concurrency, there are very tricky questions in the exam about these topics.
Beside that exam is easier than mock exams.
Wish you best in the exam if you have furher questions
I will try to answer them.

Thanks for sharing this valuable information!

I read other feedbacks from the same, advising that the OCP Study Guide for JDBC chapter is not enough for the exam (great book anyway).

Do you remember such topics from the JDBC questions? Like updating a row from ResultSet, playing with absolute and relative, closing resources..

Thank you in advance.

Yes certainly there are questions about updateable
and scrollable resultsets. Be familiar with jdbc api well
because questions are very comprehensive actually
I had two wrong answers , one of them is jdbc and I dont know which question it is.

Thanks! I have reviewed the JDBC API and indeed there were somethings missing. Feeling more confident now regarding ForkJoin and NIO.2 as well.

However I have started the Enthuware mock exams, and I could notice that there are LOTS of questions related to "Advanced Java Class Design" for nested classes.

Do you remember about how many questions there were about it? Specially in those scenarios that is not very ofter used in the real codes.

Thank you in advance!

Class design questions were not too complex you can easily solve them.
Mock exams are much more harder than original exam you can add 10-15 point to mock exam score to reach your real exam score

Indeed, I was getting about 80% in the enthuware mock exams and I have cleared the real exam today with 95%.

Your tip was very helpful, since I got more than 10 questions about JDBC (and answer all of them correctly).

Unfortunately I know the 4 questions I missed, and all of them are easy/tricky. All of the ones I considered difficulties ones I answered correctly, but I guess being overconfident about the easy ones was a bad choice.

I had about 55 minutes left, and I decided to not review all the questions like I did in the OCA (I did that and changed one, and changed one to incorrect choice), and finished the test with lot of time left.

I'm glad with the results, especially because there were no questions which I have no idea what they were asking, the questions are pretty straight forward.

Thank you for the tips, now it's time to celebrate!

Cheers!
