I encountered something weird while evaluating one of the online mock exams:
In the solution it says: "Option E is incorrect because the return keyword is missing", and I agree, but for some reason, it marks option E as a correct answer (see attachment)

Beware of screenshots; they are often difficult to read. Please also always say where such material comes from, to reduce copyright problems.

So, I tried your code on JShell. Remember, as you suggested, that you must write a statement or multiple statements inside {}, and simple expressions don't take {} or ; in a λ:-I think you are right; the code shown in E doesn't actually compile. I think you will have to report that to the exam owners.

I found this in one off the mock exams on https://testbanks.wiley.com, for the Java OCA 8 Programmer I Study Guide. I selected a mix of 70 questions from the bonus exams 1 and 2 and randomized the questions.
