Why class can not be instantiated?  RSS feed

Both classes are final and their constructors are private.But second class cannot be instantiated while the first class can be.What is the reason of it.

Code in class FirstClass has access to private methods of FirstClass.

Because a class with ONLY a private constructor cannot be instantiated.
Anywhere, or by anything.

And while it may seem silly; it's actually quite useful...but maybe not just yet. :-)
