Dear Friends,

Please let me introduce to you a new amazing Slf4j logger “Bobbin” 📼:

Bobbin is a high-performance Java and Groovy Slf4j-compatible logger designed for multi-threaded applications (especially those with persistent threads like batch and messaging applications).

Bobbin leverages the concept of Logback/Log4j2 sifting appenders while providing much more easier configuration using native Groovy/Java scripting expressions.

Gradle: compile "io.infinite:bobbin:2.0.0"

Bobbin at Jcenter/Bintray:

Bobbin at Github: https://github.com/INFINITE-TECHNOLOGY/BOBBIN/blob/master/README.md

For some use cases, you will never have to use classical loggers (Log4j, Logback, etc) again.

I hope you like the project and it will become really popular and useful!

Not sure how OSS project introduction falls into category “Blatant advertising”.

I initially posted this in Other Open Source projects.

This purely open source, non profit project which has been developed by individual (by me) for free for the community.

But well if this is the OSS (I hope moderator knows what is OSS?) spirit of 2019 - I can accept it. Maybe really it is impossible for an individual to initiate a useful project without being in the proper place in the proper time...
Staff note (Bear Bibeault):

Product announcements, be they open source, free, or commercial are initially required to be in this advertising forum. If you would like broader scope for your post, you can expand it (actually make a new one since editing is disabled) into what we call a "rich post" that contains a lot more information about the product including things like examples, or diagrams, or getting started instructions, and so on. Think of a blog post introducing your product and why someone might want to use it. That elevates it to an "article" about your product, rather than merely an ad. You would still post that here in the ad form, but then ask one of the staff (like me) to consider placing it in other appropriate forums.
