Hi,

I'm getting what seems like a superfluous but fairly alarming warning when I'm closing my connection to MySQL:

Mon Mar 04 05:29:45 GMT 2019 WARN: Caught while disconnecting...

EXCEPTION STACK TRACE:

** BEGIN NESTED EXCEPTION **

javax.net.ssl.SSLException
MESSAGE: closing inbound before receiving peer's close_notify

** END NESTED EXCEPTION **

It looks very ugly but after testing I'm finding that the program itself is doing everything I need to. The connection successfully opens, performs required actions, then closes as required.

I'd love to get rid of it but I can't using any try/catch methods I'm aware of:

It happens when I (successfully) run 'close'.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Stephen.

Thank you Knute Snortum - this is reassuring 'cause I couldn't figure out what on earth I was doing wrong!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
