I want to be able to automate REST api tests with Java and Rest assured. For that, I want to understand how to use Jackson libraries to serialize, deserialize JSON, extract JSON objects from JSON strings, compare two JSON objects or parts thereof etc. Can someone please suggest some good tutorials to build a solid foundation of JSON and Jackson ?

Thanks !

Searching for "jackson library tutorial" results in many hits - have you tried any of those? Some look quite promising.

Hi Tim, I want to get a tutorial (preferably book or course) with written reviews so that I don't waste time in finding a decent tutorial by trial and error. Unfortunately, there are no tutorial ratings and there are no books/courses on Amazon, udemy, lynda, pluralsight for what I need. Otherwise, I could have simply looked at their reviews instead of asking for help here.

Any recommendations ?

That's not true from what I see.

Probably your best resource is going to be the documentation.   Because the work is done for you serializing and deserializing  json is super simple
