Hey guys,

I am currently debating on which MAC protocol will be a good choice for an ad - hoc chat that works by sound transmission. I have the basic layers and now I'm trying to implement the link layer with this protocol.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

late but first reply: what are you trying to achieve?
your post say something about audio - are you try to establish a some-what network-like "connection" via audio? please explain further
