This project is practice creating a beginning grade book program for a school.By adding elements for entering all of the information into the grade book.

Create an opening screen (GUI) that gives the user a choice of what they want to do (this must be a menu and must be visual in nature- meaning that the user can click on a button to choose what they want to do):

           Enter a new teacher

           Enter a new student

           Enter a new course

           Print one teacher information

Print a list of all teachers

           Print one student information

Print a list of all students in a certain course

The data must be stored into a data file so that the program can be used over and over after opening and closing.

You must create an input screen for each of the options.  The data should be stored into the correct data element and then written to a data file for retrieval.

Each of your classes should include data relevant to that class (a teacher should have a first name, last name, list of courses they teach,  classroom number, etc.).  The course code should be kept in a teacher’s record, a student should have their course codes that they take, and then a course should also have that code so that you can link the three.  You may choose the final implementation choices of the smaller details, but your program must do the above menu options.

I should be able to run your program and complete any of the buttons from the menu (meaning that you must have data already stored into your file so that when I click to print a record initially, one is printed that is pulled from your data file).  You must have at least 5 teacher, student, and course records stored.  I should be able to enter a new student, course, or teacher (on the visual menu) and then print any of the ones including the ones entered during run time.  Further, I should be able to run the menu as many times as I want until I choose to end.

Must Ensure:
-Graphical Menu Displayed Correctly
-Button for "Enter a new teacher" works correctly
-Button for "Enter a new student" works correctly
-Button for "Enter a new course" works correctly
-Button for "Print one teacher information" works correctly
-Button for "Print a list of all teachers" works correctly
-Button for "Print one student information" works correctly
-Button for "Print a list of all students in a certain course" works correctly

Read Creating a GUI With Swing for the basics.

We've gotta get close enough to that helmet to pull the choke on it's engine and flood his mind! Or, we could just read this tiny ad:
