Hello,

I am now building this web service for log-in authentication and there is one part that is under this URL that I am not sure.

https://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Examples/JPA/Configure

I hope someone can tell me if I should make persistence.xml into a jar before placing it in meta-inf.

persistence.xml - which defines your persistence units and should be in the meta-inf/ directory of your persistence unit jar file, or classpath.

Thank you for your help.

You put it in your META-INF folder, and when your project is built, the META-INF folder will be included in the JAR that is built. You don't have to wrap it in yet another JAR.
