is it MIME types?

Hi all,
I have a problem in displaying a page.
There is a link to a .csv file in my page.In Websphere 3.5 ,on clicking the link the download window opens and asks to save the file .That is what i want. The problem is when we ported the application to 4.0.The same link in the application which points to a .csv file now opens in the browser and dowes not show the download window .
Could u help me with this problem?
Is it a problem with MIME types or do i have to add an entry in the application server MIME types list?
the browsers have not changed ...so i presume that its a problem with the migration to 4.0
