Greetings,

I want to learn Spring Framework in depth and to complete the spring certification. Can you please suggest me a course which provide both things, I am ok for the paid course. I don't like to study from books thats why I'm looking for a course. Spring 5 course for certification, any help will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, best do the official Pivotal training then; Spring Professional Certification

The courses tend to be delivered by actual spring developers, but it's probably best if you understand the fundamentals before the course.  Unless the format has changed since the V4 course, then the schedule will be split between presentations and labs.  The labs used STS (of course) so it is also useful to be familiar with this IDE.

Other courses and options exist, and you no longer need to do the course before taking the exam.

Thanks for the reply. I have checked about Pivotal course and I think it requires good amount of knowledge before using that course.

Can you suggest any other course. Because courses on udemy are time consuming and not upto the mark.

I'm also interested in taking the Certification exam, but for a long list of reasons i'm unable to attend the online web courses.
Can anyone suggest me a good book to prepare the exam ?

There are a set of certification books, but they are now out of date since the framework and the various certification objectives have changed significantly.
Already answered in another JR thread JR thread

This is the book Certified Professional Spring Developer Exam and there are others for the other two old certifications; system integration and web developer.

It looks like there is an updated version of the book, but its not due until next year Core Spring 5 Developer Exam

Thanks for your answer Peter, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Core Spring 5 developer exam is scheduled for next February, I think I'll wait until it'll be available. Meanwhile, I'll study Spring 5 in action and  more tutorials on the web to get acquainted with the new features introduced by latest release.
