Looking at the exam topics I don't see java collections at all. Are there any changes to java collections that are covered in the exam?

Specifically is removeIf, replaceAll, or forEach covered in Collection implementations. Is the new Map api covered? Are the new "of" methods covered?

Yes, you will see these methods used in the code presented in the 1Z0-817 exam questions.

The 1Z0-816 exam lists the following as being in scope

While the 1Z0-817 doesn't, I would be surprised if they didn't at least cover new things like takeWhille. I think new APIs could be "hidden" under the lambda/streams objective on 1Z0--817.

So I agree with Paul that you should definitely know them!
