Hi,
I am newbie to websphere. I have installed websphere and Http server. I made automatic plugin configuration in websphere to true. I have configured Http server to listen to secure port 443 using IBM vendor's document. Then while passing request to jsp page , I kept in webspherte thro' Http web server, the request goes to http server/htdocs path. In websphere , I added the virtual host with the port 443. Can any one please, help me to solve.
Thanks in advance,
N.Ravi

Please refer to WebSphere 4.0 Handbook on www.redbooks.ibm.com.
And, you need install the WAS plugin(dll) in your IHS first.

Hi,
I am not sure I understood the WAS plugin(dll) installation. Could you please explain what needs to be done to install the plugin. Where the file will be? where it needs to be copied ?.
Also with http it is working fine. But after configuring SSL it is looking for source files in IBM HTTP SERVER/htdocs which basically means request is not going to websphere. After configuring SSL it is working with 9080 port also.
Please help.
Regards,

Please read this whitepaper about SSL:

I can't beleive you just said that. Now I need to calm down with this tiny ad:
