Hi,
I've decided to be Oracle certified in 2018 and got two books on 1Z0-808. (OCA: Oracle Certified Associate
Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide, by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff and OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Certification Guide, by Mala Gupta). But it took me too long to finish those two books and I had a few setbacks so I decided to take the exam later.
So my friends, today I decided today would be a good day to prepare again for the exam and took a look at Oracle's website just to make sure the topics I will focus on are right. And I nearly cried because of the bad news.
After reading a few topics on the forum, given I have got already two books and I've read them two times, I've decided to re-read them and take the path 1Z0-808 --> 1Z0-816. Questions follow;
1)Is there any chance of Oracle asking me questions about the topics they introduced for SE11 Part-1 exam -such as modules- in 1Z0-808?
I'm asking this because some reviews of the new exams tells that Oracle asks a few off-topic questions on the recent exams.(for example, Date API on 1Z0-815)
2)When I pass 1Z0-808,
will I still get an associate certificate? Or the certification policy changed for the old exams too?
3)Will the upgrade exam(Upgrade from OCA Java 5, 6, 7 & 8) exactly the same with the reqular path 1Z0-815-->1Z0-816?
Will there be different questions from the classic 1Z0-816 exam just because I'm taking an upgrade exam?
Thank you all.
