OCP11: Coming from OCA7, would it be better if I studied for OCP8 first, before I took OCP11?

Coming from OCA7 (not OCP7), should I study for OCP11 directly, or would I benefit from going through OCA8/OCP8?
Or, are there concepts which have changed between OCP8 and OCP11?

Do you have an OCP cert at all? Has your employer said you need the OCP11 or OCP8? Why do you think you need an additional cert at all? What will a cert add to your current experience? What good would it do to have both OCP8 and OCP11?

Or, are there concepts which have changed between OCP8 and OCP11?

Surely you know that already, if you have kept up to date with the changes in Java® in the last two years.
