Hi all,
I am trying to connect to a MSSQL Server7.0 Database using JSQLConnectDriver from VAJ 3.5.3 / WebSphere 3.5
Upon trying to do a "dataSource.getConnection" I am getting the following error
lityLa W Unrecognized database or driver "com.merant.sequelink.jdbc.SequeLinkDriver"; using generic settings
I have added JSQLConnect.jar in the configuration classpath as well as in admin.config file of my websphere installation.
Please reply back

This isn't really an answer to your problem, but I just wanted to note that what you are seeing is not an error message - it is a warning. We work in a similar environment -> WS 3.5.3 using JSQLConnect against a MSSQL 2000 DB and we occasionally see the same message in our logs, but it does not mean that a connection isn't made to the database. I think it's just the app server saying that the driver isn't one of the standard drivers it is familiar with... One other thing - you don't see these messages running on WS4.0.

Hi, friends.
I'm working with WAS 3.5 and SQL Server 7.0.
It's funny 'cause in VAJ 3.5 my jdbc/odbc bridge works great but in WAS 3.5 I got the same "warning"
Unrecognized driver or database "sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver"; using generic settings
So I changed to the Merant driver, but now I don't even ot a "warning" message I just got an "null:init" in the administrative console and a white screen in the browser.
Do you know what's happening here ?
Thanks a lot.
