Websphere and Date fields in Oracle

Should the date attributes be defined as java.sql.Date in entity beans for CMP date type field in Websphere.
I used java.util.Date I get inconsistent data types exception.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

map date datatype in oracle as java.sql.Timestamp in EJB and test it. it will work. i hope this could be usefule for u.
