If you are beginner with Websphere...then i suggest you can go for "Advanced Edition (Single server configuration)Version 4.0" from the below given link -http://www7b.software.ibm.com/wsdd
You can download the handbook for the same from this site which gives you details from configuration, installation to development of an application...
