Question on custom dashboards for forum pages

Greetings.

I have been experimenting with custom dashboards, and I can't find a way to create a custom dashboard for the forum pages that displays who was the last poster in a particular topic/thread. Is it possible? So far I can only see this by entering the actual thread.

I had a look at recent topics. Actually I was looking for a quick and easy way to determine if my thread had received a reply. I have since discovered watch settings, which by default send an email if one of my threads gets some activity. I think that solution is the best one for me. Problem solved, thanks.

You may have to tick a box on your post in order to be informed about replies. You probably only have to do that once per thread, probably on the first post.

Or go into “My Profile” and tick some boxes in the email preferences section.

Glad you found it. That was one of the first custom dashboards as I use it all the time!

If you think of a custom dashboard that would be useful that doesn't exist, do post in this forum. Custom dashboards range from "really easy" to "very hard" to implement.  I'm way more likely to implement it if it is on the easier side of course since it takes less time .
