Hello Dharmesh Chheda,
Iam setting the timeout for session in the WAS Admin Console. The problem is not that. When the client closes the browser instead of clicking the logout button, how to call the session expire method(invalidate())?That's why i wrote unload event to call invalidate method of session. It is working fine.If the user refresh the page, the unload event calls which is to be prevented. That is my problem.

Well then leave it to the Application server to time it out. I personally think that unload is not the right way.. i have never been to any site which does that... have you ?.. if yes can please send me the URL i wanted to see it .
