How can i call an EJB from a portlet. As known a portlet is installed as a war file which after installation becomes an enterprise applicaiton.

Strange but true...
Include the EJB-JAR file in the "lib" directory of your WAR file. Then you can use the EJB classes from your Servlets, JSP's and Portlets.
