The error is triggered on Line 28 of the Controller file:  "The constructor Greeting(long, String) is undefined,"

I think you forgot to recompile Greeting when you added the constructor to it. How are you building the application?

Where does the @RequestParam annotation come from? It doesn't seem to bein the standard API.
