Hi Iuliana!

First of all, congratulations for the second edition.

I would like to know if the book covers AOP.

Best Regards.

Based on what I see on the Amazon page, yes.

Work with aspects in Spring and do AOP (aspect oriented programming)

Hello Alfonso,

If it's in the official study guide for the certification exam, it is in the book.

Also, you cannot write a book about Spring without properly explaining AOP. AOP it is the backbone of Spring. Support for transactions and security is implemented using AOP under the bonnet. Actually, almost any annotation that decorates your bean declarations to add extra functionality at runtime is supported through AOP.

Cheers!
