I am trying to get a void method action() to run every 0.5 seconds using Timeline in JavaFX.
Here is what I have tried:

However, I am getting the error "The construction KeyFrame(Duration, new EventHandler(){}) is undefined".
Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the Ranch

Don't know much FX, but, what constructors are there for KyeFrame? Why are you using (long) 0.5? That will evaluate to 0. Try milliseconds and 500L instead.

Thanks, turns out I was using the wrong Duration class - I was using java.time.Duration instead of javafx.util.Duration, which is why I had to convert it to a long. All good now!
