Hello Jeanne and Scott

I have the OCA Java 8 certification, and started to prepare myself for the OCP Java 8 in 2018, again with one of your books as the main reference. But unfortunately I didn't have the time to finish the preparation back then.
Now, I'm going to start it again, and take the OCP Java 8 certification exam, and then go for the update exam over the next year.
I'd like to know if you think it's a "must" to update now, and if so, how you advise me to study and prepare myself for the update exam using your new books.

Thanks, and keep the great work!

It depends on what your goal is for the certification. I would recommend taking the OCP 8 in your case though. It gets you to a certification the fastest.
