In what ways OCP 11 is more stringent than OCP 8? I have OCP 8 certification, and I am finding out how much I need to prepare for OCP 11.

Salil,
The 1Z0-815 is way harder than the OCA 8. It is a professional level exam. It covers more topics and covers them more deeply.  The 1Z0-816 is equivalent in difficulty to the OCP 8. (presuming you are equally comfortable with the topics. Until study guides come out, I'd argue it is harder.)

As someone holding an OCP 8, you can take the 1Z0-817 upgrade exam though. Whether you find that easier or harder really depends on your favorite topics. For example, you might find it harder if you love concurrency (because it isn't on the upgrade exam)
