Hi Jeanne,
Well, I'll definitely use your book -- that goes w/o asking. Do you have a suggested book for the OCA test? I might want to start there ...
Thanks.

We published a book for OCA 8 (1Z0-808) and OCP 8 (1Z0-809) as well. So you'll never guess what I recommend. Lots of people on Amazon said good things too!

I use this book everyday, and for sure, I heavily recommend it.

I just bought both of the study guides for the SE 11 Programmer 1 test that have been featured on these forums. I have a date of April 15 set as the test date. Starting around April 1 I'll start the Enthuware mock tests and see where I stand. I have been wanting certification for a long time but none of my jobs ever focus on Java and time is at a premium for me. But as I get older, I want to hone in on a specialty. My current job is administrative, and I write no code. I want out of it, so I throw my hat into the ring for the first certification. The book for the second cert should be out in April, so I can just continue on my path and hopefully someone will hire an older dude that likes to code and can think outside of the box.

Do you think that two weeks after sitting your first Enthuware exam will give you enough time for revision if yoiu get a poor mark? Or could you delay the real test?
