Hi All I am using mpandroidchart for making line charts in my app.In this I am trying to add a popup dialog box containing the details of the value selected on the chart. I was trying to use this library but then I found documentation is not updated so Can anybody help me with this thing. There are two things which I need to do in this :

1)I need to open a custom dialog box/popup/tooltip when a user selects the value of that line chart. (Like in picture)
2)I want to highlight some values on line data in particular color. How can I achieve this.

What do you mean by "I found documentation is not updated"? The javadocs refer to version 3.1.0., which is the latest.

In such a situation I would generally try out the example app(s) to see if they do anything close to what I'm trying to accomplish. That might be a good starting point.
