Hi All,

Currently i am exploring machine learning related area and i can see majority of time everyone is talking python and R.
I am not sure if java community is using java to solve machine learning related problem. Why python is used widely not java ?

Please do let me know your opinion.

And also as community, should we not focus in this area ?

Thanks,
Prateek

That's a good question. In python the scikit-learn library is so advanced and useful, Python is the go-to language for ML.

I don't know either why Java isn't really in the game here, but just use Python as that's what everyone does, at least mostly, for ML.

In case you're interested, I used an open source library called neuroph made in java. There's also Deeplearning4j but I couldn't seem to get it to work
