Hey there,
I am pretty much stuck with my java code.

I am asked to sort an arrayList of strings (in this case names) from a txt file.
I am able to see the strings stored in the txt, however they're unsorted even though I use Collections.sort.

Can somebody please solve the problem with my code ? I am really stuck at the moment and tried different ways.

I am new to Java and started only a few weeks ago.

That doesn't look like a sorting problem.  It looks like your test is expecting a different type than passing it.  sortNames() wants a String, but it's being passed an ArrayList<String>.
