In this article, I will explain the steps you can convert the PowerPoint presentation slides to image file format. By using Spire.Presentation for JAVA, we can easily convert the presentation slides to bitmap and metafile image in JAVA applications. The supported images could be in Jpeg, Jpg, Png, Tiff, and SVG format etc. As widely known that there are two kinds of graphics for the image format, Bitmap images and vector images. We can not only save the whole PowerPoint presentation slides as image, but also convert the single element on the presentation slides, such as chart, table and shapes to image. Here I will show you how to convert the presentation slides to images from the following three parts:
Convert the presentation slides to BMP images
Convert the presentation slides to SVG
Convert the single element (table, chart and shapes) on the presentation slides to image.
Convert the presentation slides to BMP images By using ISlide.SaveAsImage() method, we could easily convert specific presentation slide to BMP image in Jpg, Png, Tiff, Bmp, here we will use .pptx to .png as example:
Convert the presentation slides to SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
By using saveToSVG() method, we could save PowerPoint document to Scalable Vector Graphics easily.
The table, chart and shape on the presentation slides are the single element on the presentation slides and all of them are defined as shapes. Here I will show you how to only convert the table, chart and shapes on the presentation slides to images by calling getShapes().SaveAsImage(int shapeIndex) method to save table, chart and shape as image.
