Is it fine to use JQuery form validations in React.js application?

I have implemented an application using React.js.  Is is fine if I use JQuery for form validations?

I would advise against it. Form validation gets all tried up into form submission and mixing paradigms between jQuery and React is likely to create a bunch of hard-to-diagnose problems. I would research React-ready form validation packages.

I like both jQuery and React, but the two do not mix well.
