Entire world is fighting against the Corona and same time we are the students (including me) studying for OCA java 808 exam. I need the suggestion whether to keep further study for oca exam and practice mock exams . Or just pause taking mock exams and go further studies for OCP. And after everything going fine then start practicing of mock exams for OCA . Then will take a real OCA exam. Then start practice of OCP exam . Then will take OCP real exam.
What will be the future strategy should I follow?

No one knows how this is going to pan out. Test centers are closed. So, there no point in entering the final step of preparation (i.e. mock exams) unless you are planning to take the online proctored exam (i.e. from your home). If you are done with reading the book part, you can, may be, take one or two mock exams to see where you are at. Do more hands on exercises, write code, and move on to the OCP topics. Come back to OCA mock exams when things are normalized.

Sorry, I did not get a logic how taking OCP before OCA may help in this situation. If you mean postpone OCA taking because testcenters are closed, then you won’t be able to take OCP too. As an option you can consider studying OCA as you do and taking proctored exam — you can take it at home or any suitable location, no need to go to testing center.

As I am in smaller town of India and currently there isn't guarantee of availability of Electricity and Internet Connectivity in upcoming few days ,
thus tacking proctored exam may not be possible.
So it will be better to stop taking mock exam of OCA and just continue the study for OCP.
Although I am confident about all the OCA concepts.

Thanks for your valuable guidance.

Welcome to the Ranch

As you have seen, there is nothing “probable” about any effects on the exam, but now “definite”

Mikalai Zaikin wrote:Sorry, I did not get a logic how taking OCP before OCA may help in this situation. . . .

The OP didn't say he was sitting OCP before OCA. He said to learn for OCP before sitting OCA, which sounds like a good idea to me. So is your suggestion about sitting the texttest at home. Actually, it might not mean OCA/OCP but OCP part I→OCP part II.

[edit]Correct spelling of test

I agree that studying OCP material is good assuming you are able to concentrate.

When studying for OCP there are going to by some things you want to try on a computer. I recommend making a "try when electricity returns" list so you can note what these things are when you aren't able to try them on the ocmputer.

Thanks for suggestion on " try things on computer while I learn".
