Hello guys,
I am sophomore in CS and am studying Java this sem. So I need to make a JAVA WINDOW APPLICATION as project and would like to know some cool and different ideas to do it.

I have this idea of building a app that uploads files to IPFS and returns hash. But I don't know how we can integrate our Java App to IPFS. I don't know even if it is possible or not.
So please help me guys and would like to get some cool project ideas.
Thanks in advance. :-)

Welcome to the Ranch

Start by deciding what you want to do and first develop an application to do that without a GUI at all.

Yeah, I have done some research and decided to make a APP that monitors Cryptocurrency price. TO start with this we have an API that can update us with Cryptocurrency price every time.

So what I'll be doing is I'll import data to excel using API and then export it to my Window Application.

I don't know what else should I do.

To make a app using excel I am getting all results of JTable but I don't want just table to be seen in my app. I want to use that data where ever I want in my app. Please help me
Thanks:-)

That worries me at this early stage; it appears you are deciding implementation details too early.

I don't think it's that difficult to import data to excel. I think it all starts from point where i need to export data to App. Am I wrong anywhere?

I am new to this(GUI/AWT/Swing). Please tell me some resources to start with.

That's not the point. The point is you give the impression of having decided how you are doing something before you have decided what you are doing.

I am new to this(GUI . . .) . . .

Don't write the GUI until you have the app working without a GUI.
