Answer 3 = B, C & D
The new java launch option can reference both classes built into the JDK and user defined classes.

Hi Dean,

Campbell and me already asked you in previous threads to add more context.

This is a general Java certification forum and not all people here have the book, so please add more details -- question stem, options, and we will be happy to discuss.

Cheers,
MZ

Thank you for your suggestion and sorry of my thread wasn't easily accessible for those without the book. I'm logging documentation defects as requested: https://www.selikoff.net/ocp11-1/. This particular thread specifically deals with the answer to question 3 of chapter 1.

As you can see from the screen shot single-file source code executions work with both JDK and user defined classes. You need to know this for the certification exam. I hope this helps.

I saw this screenshot in another thread, I assume the question tests running directly java source? Still lack of the question stem to evaluate if the wording is wrong or requires improvement.

Hi Mikalai Zaikin. Thank you for your interest in helping however this is a bug report. It is not a request for assistance.

Jeanne Boyarsky & Scott Selikoff deserve to earn money for their work. I'm not going to publish their questions.

The important thing for you to learn from this thread is contained the information I have already provided. The rest is for the Authors.

Oops. Done. I'm usually good about logging on both pages at the same time

I'm not sure if I approve of this interruption. But this tiny ad checks out:
