Here is my big data journey so far.I had done a short course on Hadoop in one of my past companies. The course had only theoretical knowledge of Hadoop eco system and an example of word count program. After the course I practiced running Hadoop Map reduce program on cloudera VM. After this we did one POC there which was using hadoop cluster, java and hive. After that I switched job. In the next job I was working on a project on Spark streaming(using Java), Kafka and Hbase. There was a separate data science team there which had been working on Python machine learning models. We used to take their model and integrate.

I feel that since I am working in big data, I should be knowing it well and properly. What next should be in my path of learning? Can someone please guide me on my path of learning? Thanks
