The 1Z0-807 (Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Certified Master) page says the exam is set to retire don August 30th 2020. I'm not seeing anything replacing it. Am I missing anything?

Also the retiring page doesn't mention replacement.

Also, the 1Z0-807 exam is in the retirement list

The last Oracle University announcement about retiring exams & certifications is from yesterday but it doesn't mention anything about it.

The screenshots have “N/A” near their bottom right, which I think (not certain) means there isn't going to be a replacement exam.

Would you still be able to do 1Z0-865 and 1Z0-866 after august 2020? I don’t see them in the list of retiring exams.
I am not sure if I should try and pass 807 before august if I can’t get the OCM certification in the end... Already paid for the mandatory training so this sucks a bit.

I've open a question on Oracle's faq about this.
Unfortunately all exams will be retired in August 30.
See bellow the answer.

Dear Ruan,

Please note that post 31-Aug 2020 candidates will not be able to register or take the exam, assessment, essay. Courses can be completed later and can submit within 6 months.

Regards,
OCP Team

I think the problem is that Oracle doesn't own JEE anymore and hence is no longer the ultimate authority on JEE. Meaning that a vert from them would have no more weight that a cert from any other third party.

as far as I know the Apache foundation has never issued certifications for anything, so don't expect them to take over.

Certs have never carried a lot of weight for me, anyway. Having too many certs, in fact, is a red flag.
