In continuation with HTML form and PHP V1 this thread is extended in version 2 as main problem is yet not resolved.

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to create an web-page,form,that would accept specific input and generate
an XML file from it.The form has to have the ability to add items in one particular section(where we can
add additional streams) and give us the ability to remove streams as well.
For each stream we must be able to attach a logo for that stream as well.

Xojo or Php for this could be used,

below is the sample XML file and Data Format.

I tried below HTML code to design web page for above But now the problem is how to 1) make it create an XML file.

2) Then expand the form to handle a variable number of input fields.

There are any number of PHP introductions and tutorials available for free, if you care to look for them, and work through them.

This web site is about teaching to program, as has been pointed out to you repeatedly. I don't know what's so hard about that to understand. If you need to solve a problem quickly without learning PHP, hire a professional to do it for you.

It's not our problem, and we don't need to learn PHP. You do, so you had better get working on it, if it's so important to you to solve this quickly.

You have been posting on this forum for that time too, but you still haven't learned one of its basic rules, namely: The "experts" aren't going to provide solutions for you. So there's no point in repeatedly asking for that. If you want experts to write code for you, you're wasting your time here.

but experts keep assuring if i answer their question then we would arive to solution of my main problem too.
so just in that hope i have been answering tough technical questions as well which are being asked by the experts  frequently still experts are not helping at all to solve my main problem after al it is 'A friendly place for programming greenhorns' isn't it?

but it seems whenever experts want they close any topic as per their own wish without considering whether any topic is ending owards any meaningful conclusion or not this is the 3rd topic as the same initial 2 topics in the same context were never answered properly by experts so it seems they themselves hardly know solutions of such tough problems that is why they keep asking tougher technical questions outside my main problem and even though when i try to answer them based on my limited knowledge then also they say i am using internet to answer these questions so neither they are accepting my answers which they askin return of my main problem nor it seems my problem is making any progress towards it's solution despite of many experts present on this forum, but it seems it's the monopoly of some experts who only are allowed to answer the questions and as per their own wish they can close any topic as per their own wish, where is the main intension of this forum being fulfilled like this way?
i agree experts are ready to teach free as well on this forum but what can we do if such experts leave the topic in between and become so angry that they leave the topics in between and never bother to proceed further it seems that they have too much ego problem and they take it personally very small small issues whereas they should just not behave like that because if they behave like this then it looks like it's not at all a 'A friendly place for programming greenhorns'

I hope experts would take it in right context with the spirit of this forum so that we could arrive towards solution of my main problem as soon as possible.

Thanks
T

But I have a question here where to store this SQL table ,how to make it as per my problem statement, how to execute it where to execute  it also i just have Xampp software installed on my computer then how would i be able to
run this SQL table?

Also How to generate XML file from it based on my problem ?

Thanks much..

You didn't say what idea you got from this video, but nothing in your problem description calls for either a database, or an AJAX solution. Given that, adding a database to the mix -which you seem to know little about, given the questions you just asked- only further complicates the issue for no good reason. But if you wish to learn that, there are any number of tutorials out there on the web that will teach you how to use MySQL in conjunction with PHP. This isn't something that can be taught in forum posts.

i thought example shown in this video is similar to my problem..as i also need to add /remove streams etc. like they neeed to add/remove items.

also i came across one link :-https://www.w3schools.com/php/php_mysql_intro.asp

but it does not tell any thing whether i already have mysql installed or not so how could i confirm the same?

Using a DB has nothing to do with the problem you wanted to discuss in this topic. If you want to talk about PHP and DB, start a new topic. We like to keep things to a single topic in one discussion.

The basics of doing this is covered in the tutorial video I linked.  My suggestion to experts here is to follow along and help me to create the application with the tutorial. Doing so will teach us 95% of what we need.

Then use what we have learned to create this app.  Once we have most of it working, then we could discuss tougher portion of this task as well.

Also I have already created another topic for understanding 'How to know whether my PHP software having a PHP server with a MySQL Database'. with this name 'How to know whether my PHP software having a PHP server with a MySQL Database' under PHP forum.

Thanks much...

No. We'll keep this topic to the original problem. Databases can be discussed in the other topic.
