I signed up to this forum cause I have answer to this question, but unfortunately the thread is locked so I had to make new topic.

<%page isErrorPage="true"%> Giving Http 500 Status

I had same problem, turns out it has to do with the browser, try changing a browser. I was using inbuilt browser of eclipse. Then I tried in Microsoft Edge and it worked, you might also try in Google Chrome.

Something to do with the size of the file.

I got this from stackoverflow, to give the credit.

Hope this helps the 1954 people who viewed the old thread :)
