Hi,
Is it right if we could start a Local Transaction within a global transaction. The situation is that a UserTransaction is started, within it we are doing some database activity with setAutoCommit as true/false. Is it possible?
If a roll-back happens in the case of the UserTransaction, then what happens to the Local Transaction.
This is working fine with WebSphere, but not working with Pramati server.
Thanks in advance,
Suttan

Never change setAutoCommit() in WebSphere. It's pure luck that it's working. Read the sections on the InfoCenter on local transactions.
BTW, what are you REALLY trying to do? This is probably not the right solution for your problem. Describe the problem in detail and we'll try to help you...
