Hi,

I´m preparing for Java certification using OCP Java 11 Programmer I Study Guide by Jeanne and Scott, and since the book is encouraging to post questions here, I give it a try

In "Review questions"-section in chapter 1 on page 29, question #2: I´m wondering why option F is not correct? The filename of the .class file is the same as the name of class, so for me option F is the same as option D, just another wording.

I guess that may be "filename" in this case means both the name and the extension, if yes, does this mean that the same assumption is taken in the exam questions as well?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Ranch

Please supply more details about the question because those of us who don't have the book don't know about those questions.

D means java MyFile
F means java MyFile.class

D is correct. F is not
