hi there,
can't I deploy a bean with local interfaces and remote interfaces in one entity bean with a local and a remote JNDI name ?
as far as I have seen you can only configure one JNDI name per EJB in AAT.
many thanx,
max

The JNDI name doesn't apply to local EJB's -- only to remote EJB's. You can only acccess Local EJB's through Local EJB references (which are unique to each bean type).

This means that the local JNDI name used by weblogic in their own deployment descriptor isn't EJB standard ?

Yup, that's right. The spec is VERY vague on this, so any interpretation is up to the vendor.

For my next feat, I will require a volunteer from the audience! Perhaps this tiny ad?
